1933 Goudey Complete Set (240)
Offered is a mid grade 1933 Goudey set, complete with four Babe Ruth cards and two Lou Gehrig examples. The six cards highlight the burgeoning array of HOFer talent within including household names (at least at the time!) like Hornsby, Foxx, Dean, Cochrane, Gehringer, Hubbell, Ott and Grove, truly the Golden Age of baseball. These relics have seen a better day, but we cannot discount the enjoyment many young baseball fans had while flipping, trading and hoarding these precious, tiny works of art. While none have been abused by bicycle spokes (Did they do this back then?), many appear to have been carried around in the proverbial hip pocket.
