1934 Babe Ruth Signed Photograph from Matty Martin
Miraculous vintage signed photo emanates from the famed Matty Martin Collection. Matty was the doorman at Manhattan’s The Stork Club and frequently obtained autographs from the Babe whenever he came in (he kept there a stash of unsigned photos for the Babe to sign!). This beauty is penned in the darkest black fountain ink, “To Matty Martin Sincerely Babe Ruth Feb 7th 1934.” Classic shot of Ruth in follow through wearing road Yankees uniform. Photo is itself 8x10” and is in its original 9x12” matting. Overall NRMT.
