1934 Tour of Japan Photos with Ruth, Gehrig and Foxx (4)
Seven years before Japan dragged the U.S. into World War II, a team of America's baseball stars traveled to the Eastern nation for a barnstorming tour. Photos of Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Lou Gehrig and Eric McNair are all here. The McNair, Gehrig and Ruth shots are individuals while Foxx is sitting with Ruth and teammates. All are in uniform and the photos are candid snapshot size. The condition overall is VG with the Foxx photo having some tape on the front.
