1934 Vintage Tour of Japan Wire Photo with Babe Ruth (7x9”)
First generation Associated Press wire photo of a jubilant Babe Ruth parading down Ginza in Tokyo, waving an American flag. Photo shows excellent contrast, in Excellent condition except for some slight wrinkling to the edges and some paper loss around the edge in bottom right. This spectacular photo from the 1934 Tour of Japan with the Babe is never seen in this first generation state. Even the tour album presented to the players used the second-generation version.
