1935 Babe Ruth and Teammate Signed Type 1 Photo by Thorne - Sourced from Teammate (PSA)
Surely one of the better signed photographs of Babe Ruth as a Boston Brave, The Sultan of Swat is seen here in his swansong season as a Major League player with All-Star teammate Frank Frankhouse. Both men sport full Braves regalia, complete with Indian-head sleeve patches. Still larger than life, Ruth poses with his hands on his hips and signs boldly in 8.5/10 steel-tip fountain pen. Meanwhile, Frankenhouse's signature comes in at 6.5/10. There is a 1.5" tear on the upper left border, which does not intersect with the players or autographs, and a some creasing near the lower right corner. However, these distractions do not subtract significantly from the display appeal and grandeur of the image. Measures 8x10" with "Thorpe Photo" stamp on the verso. Comes certified by PSA.
