1935 Babe Ruth Federal Income Tax Return - His Final Year As A Player
For year he moved to the Boston Braves and had his swan song, for which he was only paid $7, 445.56. But, he was paid $12, 911.91 for various barnstorming and exhibition games. This included the 1934 tour of Japan where he created a love of the game that continues to this day. This was the height of his Quaker Oats radio program and premiums, and he was paid $18,750.
