1935 Lou Gehrig Dinner Program - Signed by Joe McCarthy
Dated from an April 14, 1935, dinner at the Hotel Biltmore in honor of Lou Gehrig, this dinner program is signed on the verso in pencil by Joe McCarthy, right beneath the photo of the muscular, shirtless Iron Horse. Cover art of the folded card stock 5.5x8.5" offering is by Robert Ripley of "Believe it or Not" fame, and the program rates in VG+ condition. There is writing in unknown hand in black ink on the inside cover above Gehrig's bio.
