1937 Babe Ruth's Personal Sinclair Oil Radio Scripts

<p><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 13px;">Following his playing career, one of Ruth's major endorsements during the late 1930's was with the Sinclair Refining Company.&nbsp;This partnership resulted in Ruth hosting a weekly radio baseball program sponsored by the company as well as company sponsored contests.&nbsp; Recently found are these two&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 13px;">1937 Sinclair Refining Co. original radio scripts.&nbsp; These were Babe Ruth's personal scripts handled by his right hand man Joe Bihler.&nbsp; Collection includes (1) fifteen page document entitled "Sinclair Refining Co. Program - Babe Ruth" and (2) two page inserts with identical content dated April 16, 1937.&nbsp; Content is mainly baseball with some obvious Sinclair advertising slipped in like "Sinclair's holding a World Series every week" and humorous&nbsp;comments such as "My mother told me never to trust a radio announcer."&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">From the estate of Joe Bihler, the right hand man of Babe Ruth's agent Christy Walsh and in turn Ruth himself.&nbsp;</span></p><div><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><br></span></div>
