1938-39 Baseball Wire Photo Scrapbook
This enormous Thibaut scrapbook (18x18”) is filled with fantastic wire photos from the Associated Press. Over 115 candid and action individual, group, and team shots taken over the course of the 1938 & ’39 season. Highlights include the famous, “Dodgers Got Rhythm,” with Ruth, Steinback, Hassett, & Cuyler comically harmonizing. As well as a photo of Jimmie Foxx at Earl Averill Day. Also included are Greenberg, Gehrig, Grove, Dean, the list goes on and on. While the album itself is in good condition the photos it holds are VG+ to EX-MT. A near complete photographic record of the 1938 and ’39 seasons. Amazing!
