1938 Babe Ruth Game Worn Brooklyn Dodgers Cap

1938 Babe Ruth Game Worn Brooklyn Dodgers Cap

Amazing Brooklyn Dodgers gamer once covered the head of baseball's ultimate Golden Age hero. It was always the Babe's dream to manage a Major League ball club after he retired as a player. But the closest he would ever come to reaching that dream was when the Dodgers hired him as a batting coach in 1938. He was let go after the season was over. Gorgeous cap in Dodger blue with white embroidered "B" on the front. The bill is extra thick and firm, and unbroken. Inner leather sweat band shows nice use and wear, but with very little crazing to the leather. "7 3/8 Babe Ruth" is embroidered onto the leather, along with the cloth "Spalding" tag. A sensational piece of the Great Bambino's legacy.
