1939 Martin Dihigo Signed and Notarized Real Estate Document
Official document obtained from the Dihigo Family is the only notarized Martin Dihigo signature we have seen. Signed by one of the greatest athletes who ever lived (like Babe Ruth he was both a champion pitcher and hitter). Notarized real estate document regards the sale of land to a Cuban gentleman by the legendary ballplayer. Six pages in length and adorned with attractive 1939 Republic of Cuba stamps. The key title page is NOTARIZED below the Dihigo signature. It is signed in Mint ink "Martin Dihigo Llanos" with dates and additional writings by him. The document is quite fragile and with many chips to the edges but has been bolstered by some restoration. But the signature is Mint and that is the part of importance.
