1940's Dolph Camilli Baseball Photographs (15)
Dolph Camilli is the subject of this news service photo collection (15) from the 1940's. Dolph was a first baseman and power hitter for two decades in both the Pacific Coast League and Major League. He was named the National League MVP in 1941 after leading the league in both homers and RBI's. Photos size from 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" to 8" x 12". Most are in the VG-EX range with some chips and rough edges. Some have newspaper edits. One shows Leo Durocher and Dolph arguing with Umpire Jordan in 1940. Another shows him dishing out donuts at his shop in San Francisco, 1955.
