Cards from the 1939 and 1940 Play Ball sets are finally starting to get some of the recognition that they deserve. Either people recognize just how hard these cards are to find in high grade or they just acknowledge the beauty of the vintage original photos of these long lost times. This is the type of lot that's almost never seen in the hobby - a collection of 41 different cards from the '40 set, with 35 PSA 8's, 2 PSA 7's and 4 PSA 6's. Many of the PSA 8's are low population beauties that just can not be found anywhere else.
