1941-42 Quincy Trouppe Contract Witnessed by Negro Leaguer Barney Brown

Storied Negro Leaguer Quincy Trouppe signed this contract in 1941-42 for Guayana of the Puerto Rican League. The man who became one of the oldest Major League rookies in 1952 at the age of 39, Trouppe signed with his full address, and additionally, the pact was signed by teammate Barney Brown, who also added his particulars. The screwballer was a four-time All-Star whose 0.71 ERA puts him third all-time behind Satchel Paige in Negro League annals.
