1941 Johnny Pesky Game Worn Louisville Colonels Jersey
The gray flannel jersey that immortal Boston Red Sox, Johnny Pesky wore just before the start of his Big League career. “Louisville” crosses the chest in navy felt lettering and the verso is his same number “6” which he wore for his first 8 seasons with the Red Sox. Collar tagging is “Wilson” with [size] “42” flag tag and “Sutcliffe Co., Louisville” above with “J. Pesky” embroidered into the collar line in red thread. Jersey shows excellent vintage use and wear.
