The Kansas City Monarchs were the longest-running Negro League franchise, existing for 46 seasons from 1920 to 1965. These two ticket stubs are from an exhibition against Frigidaire on October 3, 1941 at Duck's Park. The 1941 Monarchs won the Negro American League pennant and featured future Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige. The following season, they would go on to win their second and final Negro World Series.
