1945 Babe Ruth Signed Sailors Hat
Babe Ruth certainly showed his support for the troops when during a victory celebration in New York City after the end of WWII a young sailor asked Ruth to sign his sailor's cap and the Bronx Bomber happily obliged. The hat is now in a protective glass display case. The signature is written in black ink and is clearly legible, though a bit faded. The autograph rates 7/10 for legibility. The overall condition of the hat is G with some age spotting and few tears and holes in the fabric, none of which interfere with the high quality signature.
