1947 Browns Signed Certificate To Luke Appling (16"x20")
As a model of consistency and durability over his twenty year career, Luke Appling commanded the respect of teammates and oppposition alike. Created as a tribute to "Ol' Aches and Pains" the 1947 St.Louis Browns created and signed this oversized certificate. In rich blue ink are twenty-eight autographs from the likes of: Combs, Early, Dillinger, Moulder, Brown, Sanford, Witle, Galehouse, Berardino, Stephens, Judnich, Zarilla, and Moss. Each grades a 9/10 or better while the lightly toned certificate displays a left to right crease at center that has a 1" area of seperation, otherwise VG-EX.
