1948 "Babe Bows Out" Type I Photo Signed by Nat Fein (PSA)
From one of the most poignant moments in Pinstripes history, this is the original "Babe Bows Out" photo, depicting Babe Ruth's final Yankee Stadium appearance on June 13, 1948. The Pulitzer Prize-winning photo is signed on the bottom right, "Best Wishes to Ben, My Friend and Old Boss, Nat Fein," and bears light creasing on top corners and a crease bottom right with few marks on border and "1949" written on back in pencil. It also comes with handwritten letter from the photographer to Ben Price stating, "Dear Ben, Thanks very much for the negative and print. I'm going to send the print with this note. I hope you and your family are well. It was good seeing everyone again." Voted as one of Time Magazine's "Most Influential Photos," the image captures the frail Bambino from behind, his iconic uniform number "3" front and center, and his stature not at all diminished to the throngs of fans depicted in the Stadium seats on that day. <span style="font-size: small;">Comes with PSA LOA.
