1949 Mickey Mantle Independence Yankees Team Signed Photograph
Vintage photo and signatures from the birthplace of Mickey Mantle Baseball. Fantastic image of this New York Yankee farm team boasts a lineup with the man who would soon set the game on its ear. He poses proudly at bottom with not a care in the world, with eyes naively closed. He would later learn to brave the city lights. It is signed by all nineteen players including Mickey Mantle and Harry Craft in blue fountain pen ink. Notated at the top, "1949 Pennant and Playoffs Champs." Yes, h was a winner even then. Verso is stamped "Sellers Studio…Independence, Kansas." Obtained from a teammate of The Mick. 8x10", and wonderful. Stunning NRMT.
