Circa 1956 Mickey Mantle Game Used Bat (35")

Circa 1956 Mickey Mantle Game Used Bat (35")

Hillerich & Bradsby M110 signature model is one of the most glorified sticks in the history of the Major Leagues, endowed with regular season use from one of the biggest Yankee idols of all time. This 32-ounce hunk of vintage lumber accompanied Mantle to the plate, circa 1956. Slightly darkened from age, it is a shining example of Mickey Mantle's weapon of choice, displaying great use, evenly distributed all the way around the barrel. His number "7" looks to have been written on the knob when this bat was active, but is now barely legible, after 5 decades of aging. Who knows how many historic shots this holy wood could have produced? Mantle's most memorable from this era is perhaps the one that almost left Yankee Stadium completely (missing by 18 inches), or his remarkable 565-foot bomb in Griffith Stadium. Regardless, a peerless early bat of one of the greatest Yankee legacies ever created. Uncracked and in absolutely beautiful condition, with little to no deadwood on the barrel. LOA.
