1949 New York Giants Team Signed Baseball
Some of the greats of the Polo Grounds adorn this ball which contains 24 signatures. The Official National League (Frick) ball is in EX-MT condition with some light toning. Signatures are mostly 7-8/10 and include: Johnny Mize (signed "John"), Sid Gordon, Willard Marshall, and more. At a glance, the sweet spot looks surprisingly bare, but closer inspection reveals a trace of a signature that, alas, has been mostly lost - that of Manager Leo Durocher. Still a splendid offering.
