1950s Hillerich & Bradsby Bat Rack
What a great rack! Decorative and functional, this Hillerich & Bradsby metal bat rack from the days of drive-ins and sock hops consists of a heavy base (painted black), two-piece stanchion (painted red) and six extending arms (painted gold) that rotate and can hold 12 bats each (72 total). The highlight is the original black plastic sign on top that advertises: "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER - BATS - HILLERICH & BRADSBY Co. - MADE IN U.S.A. - LOUISVILLE, KY." Used as an in-store display, the rack stands roughly 44" tall and is in EX condition.
