1951 Joe Louis vs. Rocky Marciano Full Ticket
On October 26, 1951 at the Polo Grounds in New York undefeated heavyweight challenger Rocky Marciano fought former champion Joe Louis in an important heavyweight contest. Marciano stopped the aging Louis in the 8th round. Presented here is an official, full, unused ticket for the event which was originally scheduled for October 11th, but was postponed. This was the ticket used for the fight. It is in excellent condition with no creases, stub firmly attached, clean front, bold color and one small glue damage spot on the reverse. A scarce ticket.
