1951 Len Ford Signed Player's Contract
The six-foot five 260 pounds Ford one of the most feared pass rushers in the game, and a five-time All-Pro. His first season to be so honored came in 1951, the year for which this historic contract was signed. Standard contract pays "Leonard Ford" the sum of "$7,800.00" for his services. At the close of the 8.5x19" folded page are the signatures of owner Paul Brown, Commissioner Bell and "Leonard G. Ford, Jr." A tough signature, as Ford died at the young age of forty-six of a heart attack in 1972. All ink and contract itself are NRMT.
