1951 Rawlings Golden Jubilee Promotional Photo Binders Featuring Players & "Trade Show Equipment Displays" (135 photos)
Crisp, classic photos punctuate this lot, with many featured coming from the 1951 Rawlings Golden Jubilee. Contained in three original binders, many shots are of baseball uniform and glove displays and include many Major Leaguers and Hall of Famers. Among those are: Yawkey, Cobb, Stengel, Hubbell (holding his jersey), Sisler, Musial (2), Alston, Pepper Martin, Joe E. Brown, Brooks Robinson, and many more. Many of these images are of exceptional quality as they were in-house promotional copies from company files. These come from the estate of Oscar Roettger, who worked at Rawlings and played with the New York Yankees in 1923 and '24.
