1953 All-Star Game Bat

1953 All-Star Game Bat

The National League delighted the hometown fans at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, defeating the American League, 5-1. Enos Slaughter was the star, going 2-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and a breathtaking, tumbling catch on a line drive hit by Harvey Kuenn down the right field line. This Adirondack model 15V bat was made for St. Louis second baseman Red Schoendienst for the game and it shows light if any use. It measures 34" and features his last name in block letters on the barrel.
