1953 Lou Gehrig Memorial Charger
This attractive heavyweight solid brass charger was given out on Old Timers Day and measures 9" in diameter. Around the rim it reads, "Old Timers Day, Yankee Stadium, In Memory of Lou Gehrig, Native New Yorker, Played in the Year of the 300th Anniversary of the City of New York, August 22nd, 1953." A Yankees emblem is incised in the bottom, in addition to an image of Lou Gehrig on top. In EX-MT condition.
