1954 Roy Campanella All-Stars Program

1954 Roy Campanella All-Stars Program

In 1954, a barnstorming group known as the "Roy Campanella" All-Stars played a number of games across the country. This item is a program from a game between Campy's team and the Negro-American League All-Stars. Included in the rosters for this contest was the likes of Monty Irvin, Larry Doby, Minnie Minoso, Don Newcombe and many more. The card is on folded card stock, the front and back cover contain photos of several of the stars and the center has a scorecard with rosters and additional pictures. There are two holes punched along the side, apparently for scrapbook usage, and there are two staples that only penetrate the front cover. The card is partially scored in ink and there is some staining as well, rating the program in G-VG condition.
