1956 Topps Baseball Set with both Checklists and 1 cent Wrapper (342)
This is a very pleasing set with many beautiful cards with one caveat - a total of 60 cards from numbers 1-170 have a 1 ?” tape stain on the reverse, along the top edge. Unfortunately, some of the “highest grade” and most eye appealing cards contain these blemishes. Those stars listed below with the tape residue have been categorized with an asterisk (*) after the assigned grade. These grades identify these star cards as they appear WITHOUT the stains. Otherwise the set is consistent throughout, less a few team cards later in the series. The bold, bright yellow penny wrapper has the usual folds, plus several wrinkles, but is tear free and presents very well.
