1957 Milwakee Braves 50th Anniversary Uniform and Jacket

1957 Milwakee Braves 50th Anniversary Uniform and Jacket

Even though he's most associated with the Cardinals, Red Schoendienst did win a World Series title his first year outside the St. Louis organization - with the 1957 Milwaukee Braves. Fifty years later, the Atlanta Braves presented Red with this ensemble commemorating the Golden Anniversary of that championship season, and he wore it as part of the ceremony. The jersey is a Russell size XL with Red's number (in Milwaukee) 4 on the back and front. His name also adorns the back, and Red has signed the front. Comes with matching pants, stirrups, undershirt, belt, cap and special Canyon heavy jacket given to the players.
