1958 Yomiuri Giants Earliest Game Poster for Japan's Lou Gehrig
This is a rare 1958 Yomiuri Giants Poster featuring one of Nagashima's first games. It's an extremely rare poster due to its ephemeral nature. Incredibly, it pictures both Shigeo Nagashima (the Lou Gehrig to Sadaharu Oh's Babe Ruth) and Tadishi Suigiura, who both went on to become Rookies of the Year in their respective leagues, and both also proceeded to become Hall of Famer's. Advertises preseason game in Nara City on March 11, 1958. Furthermore, Nagashimas's regular debut was April 5, 1958, making this one of the first games he ever played. Overall EX condition with a slight edge tear, measures 21.25x30.87".
