1960's-70's Cleveland Browns Sideline Jacket
For all those frosty Sundays along Lake Erie, the Cleveland Browns players and coaches fended off Mother Nature with orange capes such as this. This one dates from the late 1960s or early 1970s and features the word "BROWNS" sewn on the back in white on brown tackle twill. There is a Wilson size "L" tag in the collar and shows nice use. Cleveland Municipal Stadium was so cold, damp and cavernous, it was commonly referred to as "The Mistake By The Lake."
