1960-65 Gordie Howe Game Used & Autographed Stick

1960-65 Gordie Howe Game Used & Autographed Stick

The greatest scorer in the Pre-Gretzky era of the NHL, Gordie Howe was known simply as "Mr. Hockey." Among his 33 pro seasons, he was in the NHL's top five in scoring a record 20 straight years. A fixture with the Detroit Red Wings, Hull appeared in 21 All Star Games. Howe also had stints in the WHA with Houston and the Whalers. When he retired after 1767 games, he had scored 801 goals and scored 1850 career NHL points. This Northland Custom Pro model stick has the top six inches taped and a slightly curved blade. "Howe" and other manufacturers and distributors stampings are in black ink. The celluloid accent of three black stripes is intact. The autograph in black marker grades a strong 8/10, and has the player number "9" next to it in Howe's hand. The stick shows game use with the top of the tape worn. There are many puck and stick marks on the shaft and blade, but no cracking.
