1961 Johnny Mize Presentational Wrist Watch from Charles Finley
Fabulous watch (the first series of Accutron watches sold) was pre-sented by Charley Finley, owner of the Kansas City Athletics, to Johnny Mize as a Christmas pres-ent in 1961. Inscription reads, "Merry Christmas 1961 - Charley O. Finley." It may be noted that most Series 214 Accutron watch-es were made in fourteen-karat gold, and only a very few, of which this is one, were made in eight-een- karat. The watch's move-ment is in excellent condition, and the face and crystal are Mint.
