1963-64 Ed Litzenberger Toronto Maple Leafs Game Worn Jersey
The towering and talented Ed Litzenberger skated the ice for 600+ NHL games during which time he collected not only the Calder Trophy (he was the only player in the history of the NHL to win the after bring traded during his rookie season) but four championship rings. Three of those titles came at the close of his outstanding career with the Toronto Maple Leafs when he donned this scarcely seen sweater style. Sewn with the team logo on front and his number "25" on the sleeves and back, it shows tremendous use in the form of severe color runs from sweating and multiple blood stains. On the inner side seam is tagging from "Doug Laurie Sports-Maple Leaf Garden", and this oversized gamer still owns its original ties. Minor holes throughout obtained during storage. One of the few existing relics from the days of The Original Six.
