1964 and 1968 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Black Bats

1964 and 1968 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Black Bats

The St. Louis Cardinals won three National League pennants during the swinging '60s, and these bats, representing two of those pennant-winning teams, were presented by Hillerich and Bradsby to Red Schoendienst, who was a coach in 1964 and manager in 1968. Both are in EX-MT condition. The '64 Cards defeated the Yankees, effectively ending their dynasty, while the '68 Redbirds came up short in their bid to repeat as world champions, falling to the Detroit Tigers.
