1966 Los Angeles Dodgers Raw Silk Tour of Japan Calendar in Box
This is a most beautiful raw silk rolled calendar (1966 Tour with 1967 calendar) with sumptuous woven, rich color and delicate artwork with textile mountain and sewn images of ancestral Samurai, the military elite, and nobility of medieval and early Japan. Also flags sewn into the silk of the United States and Japan with the introduction "Los Angeles Dodgers Good Will Tour of Japan". States "Gorgeous Woven Calendar" in silk with satin accents. In NM-MT condition in the original box, it measures 11x40" and rolls on a celluloid stick. Expensively executed, this is textile Japanese artwork at it's finest.
