1967-1968 Los Angeles Kings Pre-Season Game Worn Jersey

1967-1968 Los Angeles Kings Pre-Season Game Worn Jersey

Extremely rare Los Angeles Kings offering dates from the first year of the franchise's existence. The purple and gold dureen gamer features their majestic "crown" logo on front and the number "19" on both sleeves and back in tackle twill. Those particular digits can be traced to Brian Kilrea (who scored the first goal in team history), Mike Corrigan and Howie Manard, any combination of which could have worn the sweater in 1967-1968. The Rawlings tag is no longer in place and only the care tag remains above the inner hem, but the neckline's overlapping "V" design offers indisputable evidence of its season of origin. Team repairs on the sleeve and center back indicate exceptional use and the Assistant Captain's "A" has been removed. A treasure surely worthy of a king's ransom.
