1968-69 Post Marble Hockey Game

1968-69 Post Marble Hockey Game

A unique, straightforward and ultimately charming board game for hockey fans from the 1960’s. Its setup is simple: you choose sides between two of the most successful teams in the National Hockey League - the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs (as these two team’s names are printed permanently on board), put the little plastic marbles (which have clear spheres so as to see the tiny photo-illustrated head shots of each team’s 1968-69 roster) in their little concave positions on the board, and then follow the directions. Game is produced by Post Cereals, comes in original postmarked cardboard box, and has the complete set of vintage marbles containing the likenesses of such hockey personalities as Bobby Rousseau, Jean Beliveau, Yvan Cournoyer, Norm Ullman, Dave Keon and Paul Henderson. Also includes instructional pamphlet.
