1968 Grateful Dead "Trip and Ski" Concert Poster

1968 Grateful Dead "Trip and Ski" Concert Poster

“Trip and ski…,” as only the Grateful Dead could promise, the unique combination of sport and recreation at the Lake Tahoe Kings Beach Bowl, on February 22, 23 and 24, 1968. This first printing concert poster has a heady, chilly evening illustration by artist Bob Fried: the dominant colors are orange and blue, surrounding the central figure of the Dead’s familiar skeleton skiing against a Munchian black and blue sky. 14 x 22 poster is professionally blue-matted inside a 20 x 28 black frame. NRMT condition.
