1969 Seattle Pilots Photos & Premiums (50+) - from Team Exec

1969 Seattle Pilots Photos & Premiums (50+) - from Team Exec

Here are some great rare items from the lone season of existence of the Seattle Pilots. Originating from team executive Lewis Matlin, the lot includes 4x5" and 5x7" black & white photos, as well as beautiful 8.5x11" illustrations with player bios on verso, apparently used as program inserts. A few are signed but most aren't, with players including Diego Segui, Mike Hegan, Marty Pattin, Tommy Harper, and more. The Pilots played for just the 1969 season in the Emerald City, departing days before the start of the following season for their current home as the Brewers in Milwaukee.

Jim Pagliaroni

Ray Oyler

John Morris

John O’Donoghue

Don Mincher

Jerry McNertney

John Kennedy

John Gelnar

Wayne Comer

Charles Bates

Jim Bouton

Steve Barber

Bob Lemon

Eddie O’Brien

Marty Pattin

Rich Rollins

Frank Crosetti

Ron Plaza

Dick Simpson

Diego Segui

Sal Maglie

Tommy Harper

Gus Gil

Lewis Matlin

Mike Hegan

Merritt Ranew

Fred Talbot

Joe Schultz

Tommy Davis

Steve Whitaker

Gene Brabender
