1970's-80s Pittsburgh Penguins Game Worn Jersey Lot
A trio of Penguin jerseys includes the now very hard to find blue and white mesh shirt worn by Wayne Bianchin in 1977-78 and a pair from '81-82 respectively worn by Wayne Anderson and Mario Faubert. The blue and whites, introduced that season, lasted only until '80 when to honor the Pirates' and Steelers titles the Pens adopted the same black and gold motif (despite a complaint from the Boston Bruins). Penguin logo on chest in black, white and gold tackle twill. Name has been removed from back. "14" on back and on both sleeves in navy on blue tackle twill. "Stall & Dean" tag in collar with "7" flag tag. Anderson and Faubert jerseys have logo screened on front. "Anderson"/"Faubert" in black on the gold tackle twill with "7"/"5" screened on back and both sleeves, "Sandow SK" on hem in black. Light use on the latter two, extensive use on the rare blue and white.
