1971-72 Paul Henderson Game Used Stick Signed By The Maple Leafs
What would have happened to the collective psyche of Canada in the early ‘70s if there was no Paul Henderson. Canada vs. the Soviet Union for the hockey championship of Earth. All he did was score twice in game 5 and score the game winners in game 6, 7 and 8. If he had run for office after that there was not a soul in the entire country who could have beaten him. Not only is this a 1971-72 (the year of his star performance in the Summit Series) Paul Henderson stick but it is also signed by the likes of Jacques Plante, Dave Keon, Darryl Sittler and 9 other Leafs. Original tape and fine use on this CCM Custom Pro stick. “Henderson 19” stamped on shaft. Signatures are 8/10 in red felt tip pen.
