Rare site poster, which advertised the first Ali-Frazier bout at Madison Square Garden, March 8, 1971. The build up to this fight far transcended anything previous. Emphasized on the poster is “No Radio… No Home TV”. Under “Joe Frazier” is “Phila. – Undefeated World Heavyweight Champion 1964 Olympic Champion”. Under “Muhammad Ali” is “Louisville – Undefeated Former Heavyweight Champion 1960 Olympic Champion”. Poster is 22x28”, mounted on cardboard and shrink wrapped. Small pinholes in each corner, overall EX+.
