1971 Thurman Munson Road New York Yanee Flannel Pants
Munson's road pants from '71 show the extensive use one would expect from a guy who played with his nose, and everything else, in the dirt. The Yankee bulldog led by example, taking no prisoners, and his presence is still missed. Inner waistband carries Spalding label with "71" tag and chain-stitched "Munson 71 34 25" is sewn in on white felt. "15" written in marker next to latter. "Bergman" is written on the interior with "12" and "34". Pants have been repaired. Thurman's spirit lives on in items such as this.
