1972 Gerry Cheevers' Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Ring
The eye-catching glimmer of seventeen hefty diamonds surrounded by the words "Boston Bruins World Champions" forms the top of this regal ring. Manufactured in 14K white gold by Balfour. One shank features a raised image of the Earl of Derby's Cup with the words "1972 NHL, Stanley Cup Champions, Boston 4 - NY 2". Opposing shank with a raised Prince of Wales Trophy below "G. Cheevers" with scrolled "League Champions" and "30". In fantastic condition, obviously worn only for special occasions. This is the very ring that was presented to Hall-of-Fame netminder Gerry Cheevers following the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup win in 1972. Purchased directly from Gerry Cheevers in 1995.
