1978-1979 Rene Leclerc WHA Quebec Nordiques Game Worn Jersey
From the Nordiques' last season in the World Hockey Association, this home white Nords mesh jersey was worn by winger Rene Leclerc, one of only a few men to have played in all seven WHA seasons. Leclerc started and finished his WHA career in Quebec, with parts of four seasons in between spent with the Indianapolis Racers. The Nordiques logo, numbers, fleur-de-lis and a darker blue “Leclerc” across the nameplate are all screened-on. Light game use (Leclerc played 23 games for Quebec in 1978-79 and then four in the playoffs) with a little red board paint at the left elbow and a couple of stick slashes through the “8” on the same sleeve, along with a black slash mark on the right sleeve. Nice pilling around the neck. Most Nords jerseys are pretty hammered, this one is in outstanding condition. LOA.
