1973-74 Dennis Hull Chicago Black Hawks Game Worn Stanley Cup Playoffs Jersey
An incredible piece from the storied Chicago Stadium in the Windy City. This 1974 Stanley Cup Playoffs Dennis Hull jersey shows the determination that it takes to compete for Lord Stanley’s Cup. Home (white), Wilson size 48 jersey with Gunzo’s, River Forest, Ill. tagging in the collar. “74 P.O.” chain-stitched onto a small material swatch inside the front right hem denoting when this jersey was worn. Cross-over style neckline with long clip-style fight strap sewn inside the lower back. One repair on the lower left front with scattered stick marks and some red paint transfer near the hem. Deep red and heavy paint transfer on the upper right front shoulder area. Four repairs on the right sleeve with several board burns and more stick marks. Two more repairs on the left sleeve with more stick marks, scrapes and light board burns. Three repairs along the back hemline with scattered red paint transfers as well. Puckering of the numbers customary with this era of Hawks jerseys. #10 sewn on in two-color twill on the front and both sleeves. Tomahawk patches on each shoulder. Excellent pilling inside both sleeves near the elbow and cuff areas.
