1973-74 Nick Libett Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey
An incredibly hammered Red Wings Captain’s jersey with Olympic Sporting Goods and size 46 tags in the collar. Winged wheel crest on the front shows ample use and frayed stitching. Staining around the neck area with Libett’s Captain’s “C” removed from the front right chest. Stick marks galore across the lower front with more staining and a pair of un-repaired holes on the lower front right side. “Custom Tailored by The General” tag inside the back left hem area. Heavy blue paint transfers on the right shoulder yoke. One large repair on the back right sleeve at the elbow and several abrasions and marks litter the lower arm and cuff areas. Stick marks and a sizable un-repaired hole on the left sleeve near the cuff and elbow. Another large repair on the left side of the back red hem stripe. More marks and stains are strewn across the back along with Libett’s #14 sewn on. Light pilling inside both sleeves at the seams.
